Plain English, on purpose. These terms cover this website and the Game Factory game. By using either, you agree to them.
1. Who we are
Game Factory is operated by Game Factory Pvt Ltd, a company registered in the Republic of Maldives. In these terms, "we" and "us" mean that company, and "you" means you.
2. Who can play
- You must be 18 or over.
- You play as yourself, using one Telegram account. Playing on someone else's behalf, or using more than one account in a game, is not allowed.
- You are responsible for keeping your own Telegram account secure. Anything done through your account in a game is treated as done by you.
3. The game
- The game rules form part of these terms. Please read them.
- Results are decided by the answers recorded during the game. The Game Master hosts; the record decides.
- We may pause, cancel or replay a round, or end a game, if there is a technical problem or if the game cannot be run fairly. Where a problem is ours, no player is eliminated because of it.
- We may change the format of future games. Any change that affects how a game is played will be announced before that game.
4. What games cost, and what they pay
- The games are currently free to join.
- For any game, what it costs to enter and what it pays out will be stated clearly before that game begins.
- If we ever charge for entry, the payment terms, the deadline for entry and the refund position for that game will be published with it, and will apply to that game.
5. Fair play, and what gets you removed
The following will get an account removed from a game, and may get it barred from future games:
- Using more than one account, or someone else playing for you.
- Sharing or receiving answers while a question is open.
- Interfering with the game, the app or the website, or trying to.
- Abusing, threatening or harassing other players, or our staff, in any of our channels.
We can suspend or remove access to the game and to our Telegram community at our discretion where we believe these terms have been broken.
6. When the game isn't available
We work hard to keep the game running well, but we can't promise it will always be available or always be error-free. Your own internet connection, phone and Telegram app are outside our control.
7. Our content
The Game Factory name, logo, questions, artwork and the game itself belong to us. You may not copy or reuse them commercially without our written permission. You're welcome to share links to this website and to our Telegram community.
8. Telegram
Game Factory is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Telegram. Telegram has its own terms and its own privacy policy, and those apply to your use of Telegram itself.
9. Our responsibility
We are responsible for running games according to these terms and the game rules, and for paying any prize we have announced to the player who wins it. Beyond that, and as far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses arising from your use of the game or this website. Nothing here limits any liability that cannot be limited by law.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed. If a change is significant we'll say so in the Game Factory MV group. Continuing to play after a change means you accept the updated terms.
11. Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Maldives, and the courts of the Maldives have jurisdiction over any dispute.
